Watch enrollment & dispatch

Enrollment — overview

The full journey of an Ellie Care watch, from registration to arriving fully working with the user.

What this section covers

Enrollment is the end-to-end process that takes a watch from the moment it is registered in the Company Portal until it reaches the user (the person who wears it) fully working. Your company runs the whole flow on its own: there is no central stock and no shipping step. Every watch you register appears directly in your own Portal.

The watch is linked and operational before it reaches the user. The user never enters a code.

The lifecycle

The watch travels through a fixed set of states. Each state change is a step in the journey:

Alta → Sin Asignar → Preparado (Knox) → Vinculado → En Usuario Final → Entregado

Your company runs these steps end to end. The watch only moves toward the user once it is prepared, linked and tested.

Vinculado means the watch is tied to its line and configuration; En Usuario Final is when it is assigned to the person who will wear it; Entregado confirms receipt.

Who does what

The work can be split among teammates by role, but the system does not force it: anyone with permission can run any step. Agree internally on who handles what to keep things orderly.

RoleTypical responsibilities
OperatorRegisters watches, prepares them, links them and delivers them.
AdministratorConfigures the Portal, manages permissions and oversees inventory.

If you get stuck on any step, open the Portal assistant.
