Link a watch to a user
How to generate the 3-letter pairing code from a prepared watch and how the code works.
Generate the pairing code
From a watch that is already prepared, open the link action: press Link (Vincular) and then Generate code (Generar Código). A form opens where you enter the user's data.
Identify the user
You can identify the user in any of these ways:
- By email, or
- By first name and last name (Nombre y Apellido), or
- By an internal identifier (leave it blank to auto-generate one).

🔤 The form has two buttons: Verify (Verificar — verifies the user's data) and Generate code (Generar Código — creates the code).
How the code works
- It is 3 uppercase letters (for example,
ABC). - It is generated uniquely.
- It has no time expiry: it is valid until it is used.
- It is single-use: it is "burned" the first time the watch logs in with it.
✅ When you generate the code, the watch moves to Linked (Vinculado), and the Company Portal returns the code along with the user identifier.
💡 Keep the 3-letter code handy: you will need it to activate the watch in the next step.
