Activate and deliver the watch

Activate the watch with the code

Power on the watch you are going to deliver and enter the 3-letter code you generated when you linked it. The watch authenticates using the code together with its IMEI.

When authentication succeeds, the code is consumed and the watch moves to With the end user (En Usuario Final — active). From that moment it receives its credentials and starts sending data.

Confirm before handing over

Confirm that the watch is connected and working before you pass it to the user. You always hand over a watch that is already working.

❌ Never deliver a watch before it is linked and working.

💡 The user never sees or enters a code: you activate it and hand over the watch ready to use.

Step sequence

1. Power on the watch
2. Enter the 3-letter code
3. The watch authenticates (code + IMEI)
4. The watch moves to "With the end user" and sends data
5. Confirm it is connected and working
6. Hand over the already-active watch to the user

Re-issue a code or move the watch to another user

If the code was lost or you need to assign the watch to a different user:

➡️ Use Unlink (Desvincular). The watch returns to Unassigned (Sin Asignar), and then you link it again to get a fresh code.
